The Social Media Content Creator reports to the Social Media Manager and works with the digital team to produce content leveraging multiple touchpoints for our client’s social media

JOB DESCRIPTION
Pitching, conceptualizing, and executing ideas for social native imagery, videos, and video series aligned to our client’s content strategy on a weekly/monthly basis -Storyboard, plan, shoot, edit and package short-form video
Collaborate with the creative team on producing all social media video formats. Including: – Storyboarding and briefing – Leading or assisting with the video direction, model selection, identifying shoot location, and contributing to set design and styling/looks.
Maintain brand’s visual standards while pushing the creative envelope
Owning digital asset management for the digital team – ensuring all assets are properly labelled, categorized and accessible for the team
Creating on-brand video graphic treatments
Training teammates on basic digital video creation techniques and tools
Owning and managing our clients’ YouTube channels
Performs other related duties as assigned
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 3 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Film production or equivalent experience filming professional level videos
Software: Intermediary editing and post-production ability within Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, and smartphone applications
Equipment: Job related
Knowledge Of: Smartphone filmmaking, storyboarding, sound recording, and lighting knowledge
Skills To: Write scripts for video
Ability To: Flexible and work quickly in a deadline-driven environment
Other Requirements: Proficiency in Google packages (G-Suite)
