Our client offers team building, team alignment, training, coaching, and consulting to help organizations engineer high performance cultures and are currently looking to hire a Lead Facilitator to join their team in Lusaka. The Lead Facilitator should be someone passionate about designing and facilitating team buildings and training programs that can equip individuals and teams to work better. The Lead Facilitator reports to the Managing Consultant.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Retreat preparation:
Handle 1st Touch Calls or emails for team building/training related queries
Conduct Situational Analysis (SA) or schedule one with the Senior Lead Facilitators
Prepare and align Co-Facilitators or Assistant Facilitators for 60+ person team buildings (including creating activity cards for all new activities)
Create facilitator guides to align other facilitators on program objectives, agenda, flow and their roles and responsibilities.
Ensure that the slides, materials, and workbooks for the session are prepared.
Oversee communication with clients on logistics, requirements, and any other critical information for a smooth retreat.
Facilitation Duties
Help the teams get to know each other and build rapport through icebreakers and games
Facilitate team buildings/trainings, ensuring program objectives are met
Navigate time effectively to cover all content in sessions ranging from 1-hour to 3-days
Manage both non-participative as well as over-talkative participants to ensure balanced contributions and hear all voices and perspectives
Post-retreat support:
Produce and submit the report and conduct the workshop debrief with team leaders
Provide post-retreat support to clients to ensure each team gets a strong return on investment
Training Administration:
Look for or respond to requests for Quotes, Proposals, Information or Meetings from online or sent to the company by others within 48 hours
Frequently check websites like Go Zambia for consultancy opportunities and prepare first response materials.
Make Discovery Calls to warm contacts in your or Companies network to gauge interest, pain points, needs, etc.
Fill in the Companies Pipeline or Pursuits Pipeline as they respond to or generate proposals, call, or posts.
Review Estimates drafted by the Operations Coordinator to ensure the services and products are correctly labelled and described.
Get images and summary of the session for social media content and post-retreat report
Thought leadership content creation:
Utilize or enhance the organization’s thought leadership content strategy.
Research and create content to inform, inspire and equip the Companies clients and followers’ community.
Create content around personal productivity, teams and management for at least three posts a week.
Engage with communities or content on LinkedIn related to our field to ensure greater visibility and presence.
Document your observations about the team’s dynamic, the role of leadership and followership or individual personalities on teamwork
Help the team celebrate wins and exceptional teamwork
Post-retreat support:
Produce and submit the report and conduct the workshop debrief with team leaders
Provide post-retreat support to clients to ensure each team gets a strong return on investment (e.g. sending relevant articles, facilitating accountability check-ins 60 days post-retreat)
Business Development
Look for and/or respond to requests for Quotes, Proposals, Information or Meetings

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 3 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or Business Administration
Software: MS Office
Equipment: Job Related
Knowledge Of: Designing and facilitating team building or training for teams
Skills To: Exceptional Communication
Ability To: Provide insights and feedback constructively.
