Job Opportunity: Data Analytics Specialist

Are you passionate about utilizing data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency? We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team at Croc Hide.

Position: Data Analytics Specialist

Location: Sinazongwe, Southern Province.

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources within the crocodile farm, including production, health, and environmental data.
  • Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract insights and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations for process optimization and decision-making.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and propose innovative solutions to enhance farm operations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of IT systems and software.
  • Create and revise SOPs in collaboration with various departments.
  • Ensure SOPs comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in regulations, technology, or processes.
  • Train employees on new and existing SOPs.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure adherence to SOPs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in data analysis, and statistical modeling,

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
