Job Title: Reporting and Sales Analyst

Under the supervision of the Sale Analysis and Ops Manager, below are the Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates reports/dashboards/scorecards;
  • Creates ad hoc reports for the Sales Analysis team;
  • Provides insights, research & analytics that guide, influence and challenge decision-making at all levels in Sales and Distribution;
  • Gathers, organizes and communicates customer/business intelligence & insights to the entire Sales and Distribution;
  • Uses statistics & software to analyze data and make recommendations to the Sales Team, to drive Sales, increase the quality of acquisitions, and optimize MTN revenue;
  • Supports in providing Competitor Sales insight to the business to aid future decisions.
  • Supports the collection of data from the various departments and provides reports & recommendations to them;
  • Prepares regional trend performance reports for the allocated KPIs;
  • Prepares daily salesforce performance reports;
  • Collects, and ensures timely delivery of accurate data to meet organizational needs;
  • Develops and monitors metrics to measure business key performance indicators, trends, and analysis;
  • Delivers accurate, insightful, and timely analysis to guide in daily execution planning, e.g., – in the areas of Sales route management and Sales enhancement initiatives.
  • Understands & applies analytical/research techniques.

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
  • Degree or Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, IT Engineering, or any related field;
  • 2 years of working experience in data analysis, programming, reporting, or general business experience, including formal business/market analysis and data manipulation/ mining experience;
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing analytics for telecommunications is desirable;
  • Business analysis experience is an added advantage;
  • Strong understanding of global technology, trends, and best practices;
  • Understanding of the telecommunication industry.
