Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Symfony Developer to join our team. As part of our development team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust web applications using modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend and frontend development, including experience with building scalable and maintainable codebases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Extensive experience with PHP 7/8, specifically the Symfony framework
- Full-stack developer (so needs to be comfortable working on the frontend and backend)
- Knowledge of integrating REST API’s
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, twig
- Experience with databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- Experience with automated testing, both unit testing and functional testing (this is often sadly lacking in 3rd world, something we may have to teach them)
- Experience with git and github
- Experience with Heroku is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
