Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambians for the position of ADVERTISING MANAGER to plan, implement and manage a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for the Daily Nation Newspaper.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent and or Diploma in Marketing & Advertising
- At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Membership to a relevant professional body
- Newspaper advertising sales experience and familiarity with newspaper business practices are preferred.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of advertising, artwork and copywriting
- Be a team player – able to lead, motivate and inspire an energetic team of sales persons
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Be innovative and creative in raising revenue
- Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
- Demonstrate ability to grow advertising base and own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based advertising and social media.
