JOB DESCRIPTION

• Grade 12 certificate
• B.A In architecture
• 3 years experience or more (added advantage)
• Membership to ZIA will be an added advantage
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.
• Basic knowledge of site planning is an advantage.
• Assist in the design and drafting of architectural plans for various projects
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met
• Conduct site visits and oversee the implementation of architectural designs
• Analyzing complex environmental reports and using the knowledge gained in designs/plans.
• Providing recommendations on conservation and sustainability issues.
• Drawing up reports and contracts.
• Writing proposals and presenting them to clients.
• Developing initial design concepts aligned with client requirements and project goals.
• Creating detailed 3D Models, Architectural drawings & renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and objectives.
