The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company’s Chinese customers. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. He/she should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
- Manage the sales team to achieve the business sales plan, revenue, expenditure, and product mix targets.
- Liaise and deal with Chinese customers regarding sales, hiring, and after-sales services.
- Conduct customer visits and address any complaints promptly.
- Introduce and support the launch of new products into the market by implementing appropriate marketing activities and product promotions in collaboration with suppliers.
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
- Manage objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Minimum of a BA/BSc in Business Management, Marketing, or Engineering field from a recognized institution.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience.
- International exposure through training or work.
- Able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
- Valid membership from a professional institution e.g. Engineering Institute of Zambia, Zambia Institute of Marketing, Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants etc.
