A lusaka based company is looking for a suitable candidate to join their organisation and oversee the issuance and maintenance of sufficient cash balances for day to day operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Petty Cash Management – receipt, safeguarding and issuing of cash for daily organisational requirements upon approval. Ensuring the petty cash fund is always reconcilable against issued funds;
- Provide daily cash returns for Mobile Money Platform and Petty Cash in hand;
- Prepare for & Assist in the Annual Company Audit – to assist in, prepare for, and fully cooperate with external auditors during Company reviews and audits;
- Preparation of Monthly/Weekly Finance Related Reports – where required and or instructed, assist in the preparation of various monthly and weekly financial reports for the Accounts department;
- Administration & Documentation – to ensure that all Accounts information is accurately documented and saved/filed away in a correct and systematic manner to ensure is readily available for quick extraction;
Requirements:
- Academic Background: Finance/Business Diploma Holder and Diploma in accounting / finance related field (ZICA, CA, CIMA);
- Experience required (minimum/maximum): 3-4 years, preferably in Transport and/or Logistics and/or experience in an International Company;
- Age (minimum / maximum): 25-35;
- IT knowledge: sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word; excel; power point);
- Good judgement and high levels od responsibility and accountability;
- Hard worker, with high levels of intergrity and self motivation;
