Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Club General Manager located in Lusaka. The Club General Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the club, including management of staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Other day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing club policies, managing budgets, and ensuring that the club’s facilities and services meet members’ expectations. Additionally, the Club General Manager will be responsible for marketing and promotional activities to attract new members and retain existing ones.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service and customer relationship management skills
- Marketing and promotional skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and oversee multiple aspects of the club’s operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Experience in the hospitality, or club industry is a plus
