Key Responsibilities:
Management of Sponsorship Business Processes
- Organize child friendly and age appropriate activities that will promote the participation of children. Ensure entry of accurate, consistent and valid child information on a timeliness basis on the mobile phone
- Ensure processing of all (99%) sponsor mailing to and from children (ILs, Child replies, GNs, Queries, APR and Christmas cards, etc) on time using the recommended business process
- Ensure timely and quality capture of Sponsorship 2.0 /Supporter Engagement products (Child and community Rich media Content) and BBB images according to quality partnership standards
- Ensure 99% adherence to Sponsorship standards and follow up child wellbeing gaps in the field with Volunteers through case management for Children and ensure update of digital child file for all RC. (Including Holds)
- Monitor the security and manage risk of child information and Sponsorship system
- Ensure all horizon phones are upgraded
- Process all correspondences in Horizon SSUI as appropriate
- Maintain security of Sponsorship data, system resources and sponsor addresses
- Ensure implementation of all Sponsorship systems and software support
Child Monitoring and Participation
- Ensure Registered Children are monitored according to Partnership standard (300 RC per month)
- Work with volunteers to mobilize children for participation and Monitoring
- Ensure that Registered Children participate in age appropriate activities in other TPs and partner activities
- Work with the Volunteers to capture, document and share lessons, good practices, and innovations to improve sponsorship Management
Programme Effectiveness and Quality Assurance
- Share quality impact stories, photos and videos with stakeholders.
- Ensure that registered children are present, participating and are among the primary beneficiaries of the Area Programme activities
- Update, document and secure accurate Registered Children’s digital records according to Child sponsorship Standards.
Project Visitation
- Host sponsors, donors and other visitors at the Zonal level for project monitoring and exchange of ideas.
Networking and community Engagement
- Ensure that the Community – including children – participates in all zone activities through existing community structures.
- Facilitates community engagement and networking on all TPs implemented in the Zone for collection of participation records for RC
- Mobilize community members and ensure that they participate in project activities.
Other Competencies/Attributes:
- Mature and committed Christian, with strong integrity.
- Ability to demonstrate community development skills.
- Good Monitoring and report writing skills
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to meet strict deadlines.
- Competency in photography is an added advantage
- Licensed motorbike rider
- Must be resident or willing to live within the Area Programme
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Social Work or any other relevant field; a Degree is an added advantage.
- Basic Computer skills in Ms Office applications
- Adaptive and willing to work in a rural set up.
- Must have good interpersonal relations.
- Must have an understanding of World Vision mission, vision and core values.
Working Environment / Conditions:
- Work environment: 90% Field-based and 10% Office
- Travel: 10% Domestic travel is required.
- On call: Preparedness to work outside normal working hours
