Country Manager – Zambia (and Zimbabwe)

Salary and benefits are Negotiable based on experience

An experienced General Manager/Country Manager, with gambling industry experience is required for a betting operator with vacancies in Zambia, (and Zimbabwe). The company is a large and well-respected operator in the region, making this a super opportunity for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience in both online and retail operations within Sports betting and also a strong understanding of online casinos. You will report directly to the Group CEO and these are key roles within the group.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

● Maintain and improve the quality of company offerings, products, and promotions.

● Increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, training, and coaching personnel. This includes communicating values, strategies, and objectives, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, developing incentives, and developing a climate for open collaboration and respect

● Allocating resources; reviewing progress; making corrections

● Coordinate efforts by establishing relevant policies and practices

● Supervise direct reporting of staff according to overall company policy

● Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking practices, and participating in professional societies

● Set employee goals and objectives and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
