We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure cloud services, and a passion for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices. The role involves collaborating with development, operations, and testing teams to automate and streamline our software delivery processes and ensuring system up-time.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Manage Azure as well as physical resources in a cost-effective way.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and
performance of our systems. - Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve build and release
processes. - Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery policies to ensure the
integrity and availability of critical data and systems. - Conduct regular backups of data and applications and perform periodic tests to validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery procedures.
- Document backup and recovery processes, including step-by-step instructions and escalation procedures.
- Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure that backup and
recovery practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Respond promptly to any incidents or outages, and coordinate with cross
functional teams to restore services and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Full Grade-12 Certificate with at least 5 O-Levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 Years minimum work experience.
- Certified or interested in attaining AZ-400 or higher certification.
- Proficiency in C# programming language.
- Experience working with both Linux and Windows server operating systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and Azure services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Rancher, Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery policies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
