Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
Oversee the daily activities of dispenser technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Schedule and assign work tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.
Conduct regular team meetings to review work progress, safety protocols, and address any operational issues.
Maintenance and Repair:
Ensure that all fuel dispensers and related equipment are regularly inspected, maintained, and repaired to guarantee optimal functionality.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with dispensing equipment, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring all work is documented accurately.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to dispenser maintenance and operation.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Ensure that all technicians are trained on safety standards and emergency response procedures.
Technical Training and Development:
Develop and implement training programs for dispenser technicians, focusing on technical skills, safety, and operational best practices.
Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in dispensing equipment and integrate relevant updates into training programs.
Inventory and Resource Management:
Manage inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for dispenser maintenance and repair.
Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of essential resources.
Customer Service:
Work collaboratively with station managers and other departments to address any customer complaints or operational issues related to fuel dispensers.
Implement strategies to improve service quality and customer satisfaction at all service station locations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance and repair of fuel dispensers or related equipment.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a technical team.
In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in the petroleum industry.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various service station locations as needed.
Working Conditions:
Primarily field-based with regular travel to multiple service stations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
