JOB TITLE: DRIVER / MECHANIC
REPORTS TO: THE HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safety of passengers and vehicles at all times
- Collecting and delivering mails and carrying out other errands as requested
- General office support as assigned by supervisor and other senior staff
- Ensure all vehicle reports are done and submitted on or before the scheduled date
- Ensure cleanliness of vehicle and verify that the vehicle is in good condition before use
- Carry out periodic checks on vehicle to determine maintenance needs and report accordingly and on time
- Record costs of vehicle fuel and services
Requirements:
- Minimum of three ( 3) years of driving experience in short and long –distance routes
- Essential: Must have a clean and valid driver’s license record
- Desirable: Should be flexible and able to adapt to abrupt changes on short notice
- Ability to work during weekends depending on request
- Good spoken and written English
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and proven ability to work in a team
- Proven ability to work under pressure and availability to work outside of normal business hours as required
- Minimum of a Class C1 drivers licence
Qualifications:
- Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
- Trade certificate in Mechanics OR better
