We are currently hiring for the following positions, based in Lusaka, Zambia:
1. Environmental Expert
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits for various projects.
Develop and implement sustainable environmental strategies and policies.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Provide expert advice on climate change adaptation and mitigation measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability.
Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
Professional fluency in English
2. Gender Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement gender-responsive policies and programs.
Conduct gender analysis and mainstream gender in project designs.
Provide training and capacity-building on gender equity and inclusion.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of gender-focused initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in gender mainstreaming and social inclusion.
Strong understanding of gender-sensitive frameworks and methodologies.
Professional fluency in English
3. Civil Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
Manage budgets, timelines, and project resources.
Ensure compliance with safety and structural regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and infrastructure development.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Professional fluency in English
4. Construction Company with Expertise in Water Management and Diversion
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our team on large-scale water management projects.
Provide innovative solutions for water diversion and resource sustainability.
Ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 10 or 20 years of proven experience in water management and diversion projects.
Demonstrated success in delivering impactful construction solutions.
Professional commitment to excellence and innovation.
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
