PROFLIGHT VACANCY: FARES ADMINISTRATOR

Proflight Zambia is a leading Zambian airline operating Domestic and Regional scheduled services. Proflight Zambia hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Fares Administrator

POSITION

Fares Administrator

  • Reporting to Commercial Planning Manager
  • Start Date 1st March 24 (earlier start date to be considered if possible)
  • Part Time/ Consultancy Position
  • Remote Basing in Zambia or South Africa

REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum one tertiary qualification in a relevant travel/ airline/ business area
  • ATPCO Fares course and experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an airline network/fares/interline department
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience with Videcom (VRS) fares would be an advantage
  • Understanding of airline PSS’, GDS, ICH, TTBS

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENT
  • English proficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Airline commercial/finance knowledge

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fares Administration – creation, loading, filing, testing of fares and taxes and implementation in the form of written instructions

Yield Management – working with revenue management company and yield management company to identify gaps and new ideas and carry out competitor analysis

Interline Implementation and Analysis – working with existing and potential interline carriers, preparing and reviewing SPA and Interline contracts, facilitating IET testing and implementation, annual reviews of billings, monitoring support levels and analysis on relationship, recommending strategies

Audit – auditing of fares, res control functions, commissions, billings, contracts as required.
