Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of School to lead our institution into the future. If you are passionate about education, possess strong leadership skills, and are dedicated to fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Cherry Hills vision.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Act as a liaison between parents and the school concerning academic, extracurricular, and social matters involving our students.
  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion to foster an inclusive school environment.
  • Adapt to new educational trends and manage change effectively.
  • Make informed, timely decisions in the best interest of the school community.
  • Uphold high moral standards and ethical practices.
  • Foster a collaborative culture, encouraging teamwork and valuing contributions from all school members.
  • Ensure high-quality education through a deep understanding of educational theories and practices.
  • Resolve conflicts effectively, maintaining a harmonious school environment.
  • Encourage innovative teaching methods and creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Manage school resources efficiently to achieve educational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or better in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in school administration or leadership are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in educational leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in international school(s), such as Head of School, Deputy Head, or Head of Department.
  • Conversant in Cambridge Curriculum and the UK National Curriculum – Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Proven track record of successful management and leadership of international schools.
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team of educators and administrative staff.
