We are seeking an IT Operations Lead who is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of IT services. This individual must have experience in managing IT projects, client relationships, and operational budgets. The IT Operations Lead should be able to manage and motivate team members to ensure they deliver high-quality services
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to optimize IT operations and services delivery.
- Manage and monitor IT services ensuring they meet SLAs and KPIs
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to IT team in the delivery of services and solutions.
- Develop relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Maintain operational budgets by forecasting requirements for key equipment and supplies; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance to industry standards, regulations, and policies.
- Act as project manager for IT projects from inception to post-implementation
- Maintain documentation for systems, networks, and equipment.
- Ensure all IT equipment and software are secure and up to date with relevant patches and updates.
Qualifications, Skills and Certifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in managing IT projects and services delivery
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and policies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Some experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of security protocols and disaster recovery planning
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello
- ITIL certification is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
