Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Hollard Zambia IT area. We are looking to recruit an IT Integration Lead (Fixed-Term). This role is based in Zambia, Lusaka. *Applicants must be Zambian nationals or have legal status to work for a Zambia based company. Hollard Zambia is seeking an experienced IT Integration Lead for a 6-month project-based contract to spearhead the successful integration of our technology systems, processes, and teams during an exciting acquisition phase. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Integration Strategy: Develop and implement an IT integration strategy that aligns with overall business objectives. Identify key milestones and deliverables for integration. Technical Integration: Assess existing IT systems and infrastructure of both the acquiring and target organizations. Plan and execute the integration of applications, databases, networks, and hardware. Ensure seamless data migration and system compatibility. Project Management: Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Coordinate activities across IT teams, business units, and external vendors. Monitor project progress and resolve any roadblocks. Change Management: Communicate integration changes to stakeholders, highlighting benefits and addressing concerns. Facilitate training sessions for employees on new systems and processes. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to the integration and develop effective mitigation strategies. Monitor security and compliance throughout the transition. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements. Team Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for integration tasks. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. |

Required Knowledge and Experience | Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with substantial expertise in mergers and acquisitions.
Proven track record of leading complex projects with both strategic and operational focus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups. Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Deep understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory environments. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams. High proficiency in project management software and tools. Strategic agility and robust decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel as required to ensure effective execution of integration tasks. |
Educational Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. A Master’s degree in IT or a related field will be an added advantage. |
