Marketing Executive – Kabwe

The Marketing executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. Leveraging expertise in insurance products and services to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional service to clients. This position requires a results-driven mindset, strong communication skills, with a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Main Responsibilities

a) Identify and target potential clients within assigned territories or market segments.

b) Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other prospecting methods.

c) Conduct needs assessments and consultations to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

d) Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, insurance brokers, and industry partners.

e) Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications to engage clients
and address their needs.

f) Provide personalized service and support to clients throughout the sales process and
beyond.

g) Educate clients on insurance products, coverages, and policy features.

h) Customize insurance solutions to meet clients’ specific needs and objectives.

i) Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and recommendations to clients in a clear and
compelling manner.

j) Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and activity metrics set by management.

k) Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth and market penetration.

l) Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and key performance indicators to measure progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

m) Work closely with underwriting, claims, and client services teams to ensure seamless
delivery of insurance solutions.

n) Communicate client feedback, market insights, and business opportunities to internal
stakeholders to inform product development and service enhancements.

o) Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance industry.

p) Attend conferences, seminars, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to insurance products, sales techniques, and industry best practices.

Job requirements and technical skills

a) Grade 12 Certificate, Diploma in business administration, Insurance, marketing, finance, or a related field.

b) Proven track record of success in sales within the insurance industry, preferably in brokerage or agency environments.

c) Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.

d) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

e) Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

f) Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

g) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

h) Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
