MECHANIC (CROPPING) – HUNTLEY FARM CHISAMBA (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Checking, repairing, and maintaining overhaul farm machinery and vehicles.
- Repairing defective engines or engine components and service vehicles to maintain functionality.
- Reassembling machines or equipment, implementing repairs, testing for operation and adjusting where necessary.
- Listening to clients to learn more about the vehicle or machine’s history, potential problems and services they would like to receive.
- Dismantling defective machines for repair using hand tools.
- Carrying out physical checks of earth-moving machines, farm equipment and other machinery.
- Cleaning equipment parts and tools, repairing and maintaining them in good working condition.
- keeping detailed records of all work performance
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Crafts Certificate in Mechanics
- 3 years of work experience in a similar position
