Ducorp Zambia Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in both mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the grain industry, with expertise in operating and maintaining grain cleaning machines and managing plant machinery, including conveyors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and repair grain cleaning machines and plant machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
• Manage and oversee the functionality of conveyors and other equipment in the grain processing plant.
• Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and components associated with grain processing machinery.
• Implement and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical panels, troubleshoot electrical faults, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to optimize machine performance and streamline operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in the grain industry is essential.
• Hands-on expertise with grain cleaning machines, conveyor systems, and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory standards in industrial settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
