Job Description:

• Nurse Lecturers are academic professionals responsible for educating and mentoring nursing students. They combine clinical expertise with teaching skills to deliver theoretical knowledge and practical training to prepare students for professional nursing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Development:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops in nursing.
  • Develop and revise course materials, ensuring alignment with current nursing practices.
• Clinical Training:
  • Supervise and guide students during clinical placements in healthcare settings.
  • Assess students’ clinical performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Student Mentorship:
  • Offer academic and career guidance to students.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and professional behavior.
• Research and Scholarship:
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the nursing field.
  • Encourage student participation in research projects and evidence-based practices.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate students’ knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure fair and transparent grading practices.
• Professional Development:
  • Stay updated with advancements in nursing and healthcare.
  • Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
• Administrative Duties:
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic planning.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
