SUMMARY

To effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the division of the branches assigned and ensuring effective and efficient customer service is rendered.

Report to Head of Operations and immediate subordinates shall be branch supervisors and branch staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the branches assigned by the Employer and to visit each branch assigned to you at least twice a month. A schedule of branch visit must be forwarded to the Head of Operations by the first of each month.
  • To co-ordinate with the branches and the Operations staff to ensure that customers are provided effective and efficient service at all times and services are conducted in a compassionate and dignified manner.
  • To ensure that the branches are sufficiently stocked.
  • To take responsibility and accountability for inventory at the branches.
  • To ensure that all branch expenses remain within the prescribed budget for each branch and adherence to budgetary control.
  • Preparation of branch budgets on an annual basis and monthly monitoring of costs.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with regarding to operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • To hold regular meetings with branch staff/supervisor/coordinator of the branches under you.

  • To manage the fleet of the Employer and ensure that the operating costs thereof are kept at minimal level and ensuring that data are captured accurately in the Employer’s Fleet management system on an on-line daily basis and to monitor compliance thereof and prevent any misuse or abuse.
  • To monitor and implement training programs for staff.
  • To ensure that the staff recognise the need for brand adherence and to ensure that brand adherence policy is complied with.
  • Providing all general and necessary support services for ensuring smooth operations of the assigned branches by the Employer.
  • To assist the Employer in improving business process, internal controls and assisting in designing and implementing new systems.
  • To provide management information reports as may be necessary or requested from you for each branch.
  • To demonstrate good leadership qualities and act as role model and mentor to the staff under you.
  • To assist the senior management team in developing the business.
  • Ensuring compliance with prescribed standards of good corporate governance.
  • Assisting Employer in business expansion.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
