Job description:

Purpose

Plan corrective and preventive maintenance jobs, associated to process plant according to rules, policies and established procedures, to ensure the optimization and equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function;
  • Plan corrective and preventive maintenance jobs of process plant or mobile equipment, to ensure the integrity and availability of equipment.
  • Plan work orders in the system using CMMS, including workforce, resources, special tools, materials and services required from a third person, to ensure group costs and equipment history.
  • Create work orders through engineering preventive maintenance, to ensure automatize and reduce the margin of error in work orders creation for weekly activities.
  • Prepare standard work plan, to detail standard jobs based on manufacturer guideline and/or FQML procedures.
  • Monitor planned jobs feedback, ensure to integrate comments into the plan. Identify preventive maintenance needs and plan prioritizing according to the findings.
  • Create requisitions of direct charges for materials that are not in the warehouse, to ensure comply with the work plan and provide the required materials.
  • Request new stock code creation to ensure all materials require for maintenance are catalogue.
  • Update and maintain the Bill of Material (BOM) of equipment.
  • Monitor the assigned budget and ensure update the costs used in standard maintenance activities.
  • Analyse statistic of repetitive failures to ensure maximize their availability.
  • Facilitate planning meetings as required to record and report the necessary repairs based on input from operations, maintenance, logistic and support departments. Generate other maintenance-related reports as required.
  • Ensure contractor labour is tracked, and time is charged to the purchase orders in a timely Manner.
  • Support shutdown plans while outages.
  • Other duties as instructed by the Supervisor.

Internal and External Relations:

  • Maintain solid working relationships with both internal and external clients. top level, mid-level, and field employees for guidance and assistance with the daily plan execution.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical, electrical, industrial, civil discipline or related field is regarded.
  • Planning & scheduling for project &/ or maintenance experience is highly regarded.
  • Ongoing or finish training, certifications, or seminar attendance demonstrating continuous learning preferred in planning & scheduling, training & assessments, project management, asset management, RCM, etc.

Computer Skills:

•Computerized Maintenance Management Systems essential.

•Microsoft Office

•ERP (Pronto, JDE. SAP)

•MS Project (Highly recommended)

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in processing plant, with at least 2 years in planning role, preferable in mineral processing plant.
