Orion Fuels Corporation Limited is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Procurement and Sales Manager who is highly skilled in developing and maintaining contacts, excellent customer service and good decision-making ability.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Superintend the sourcing and purchase of soya beans, establish markets, and sell soya beans, soya cake and/or soya oil.
To co-ordinate and supervise satellite purchase sites.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Establish, in liaison with satellite depots, sources and price of soya beans.
- Purchase soya beans to meet target quantities and quality, at an optimum price.
- Identify opportunities to buy low and sell high.
- Ensure soya bean for purchase meets required quality control specifications.
- Ensure secure transportation to the central warehouse.
- Follow market cycles to understand and advise on current market trends.
- Establish business relationships with producers and retailers.
RELATIONSHIP
The job reports to the Finance Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A diploma (or higher) in purchasing and supply, business studies, economics or marketing.
- At lease three years in a fast-paced industry.
- Membership to Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
- Experience in agro-commodity trading will be an added advantage
