Avanto Manufacturing Limited, a distinguished player in the manufacturing industry, is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement & Stores Officer. In this key role, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and effective operation of our procurement and store functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently receive materials, goods, and services on behalf of the company, meticulously verifying orders for accuracy and quality control.
• Issue materials to various production and end-user departments, adhering to departmental requirements and securing necessary approvals.
• Prepare and submit goods received notes, maintaining meticulous documentation and ensuring adherence to approval processes.
• Monitor stock levels, collaborating closely with the Supply Chain Manager to forecast and replenish materials as required for uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
• Initiate purchase requisitions for stock replenishment, contributing to the optimization of manufacturing operations.
• Execute purchases of consumables within specified petty cash limits, maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Provide strategic insights to the Supply Chain Manager on best practices in procurement and store management.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications:

• Full Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum of Certificate in Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
