Community Technology Development Trust , Zambia

Community Technology Development Trust (CTDT) is non-profit developmental organization that strives to contribute to improved rural livelihoods through the promotion of sustainable production and development systems while paying attention to conserving agro-biodiversity and maintaining the environment and natural resources.

CTDT seeks to employ a Programmes Manager to be based in Lusaka and will be responsible for managing all CTDT programmes in the country.

Requirements for vacancy

  • Must possess a Grade Twelve Certificate.
  • Must possess a minimum of Masters Degree in Agriculture or related developmental discipline. A Bachelors Degree with no less than 10 years’ experience in agricultural programmes may be considered.
  • Proven experience of working with small scale farmers and a diverse staff.
  • Provide leadership to the project implementing team that may also include other partners and stakeholders.
  • Must be knowledgeable in agroecology, agrobiodiversity and climate change and relate these to rural livelihoods
  • Must have ability to develop project proposals.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
  • Must Possess a clean vehicle driving licence.
  • Must possess good communication skills multi-lingual dialect ability is an advantage.
  • Must possess ability to analyse data for reporting.
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision and will report to the Director.
