Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia
Access to Health Zambia (A2HealthZ), formerly known as Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia (CMMB-Z), is a local, non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on improving the lives of women, mothers, adolescents, and children in Zambia.
We deploy context‐responsive health interventions, while catalyzing community ownership. The result is sustained impact and resilience against extreme poverty and disease.
A2HealthZ have among other interventions under the USAID Empowered Children and Adolescents Program I (USAID ECAP1) whose focus is to mitigate HIV impact and improve health and well-being of vulnerable children and adolescents (VCA), and their families, in high HIV-burden districts.
A2HealthZ now invites applications from well-established and reputable organizations to register as suppliers and contractors of goods and services for the period 2024 to 2026 as follows:
1. SERVICES
(a) Accommodation
(b) Outside catering
(c) Events hire i.e. public address system, chairs & tables, tents/marquees/gazebos.
(d) Air travel ticketing both local and international flights
(e) Car hire within and out of town
(f) Truck hire for transportation of goods, local and out of town
(g) Clearing and forwarding services
(h) Courier services for local, national, and international
(i) Insurance services
(j) Branding services i.e. designing and printing of t-shirts, caps, bags, pens, tier drops, banners, pop-ups and other related branding materials
(k) Documentaries and Photographing
(l) Sanitation and hygiene
(m) Printing and designing
(n) Computer and printer maintenance
(o) Office equipment maintenance of air conditioners and generators
(p) Telecommunication systems
(q) Internet network infrastructure upgrade
(r) Motor vehicle repairs and maintenance
(s) Office building maintenance and repairs
2. GOODS
(a) Computers and computer consumables (all IT related items)
(b) Food stuff, cleaning materials and groceries
(c) Supply of stationery and office consumables
(d) Teaching and learning materials.
(e) Recreation kits such as adult & kids’ sports attire and consumables
(f) Bicycle supply
(g) Supply of fuel (filling stations)
(h) Motor vehicle supply and parts
(i) Motor bikes and accessories/parts
(j) Uniforms and protective clothing
(k) Medical equipment and medicines
3. CONSULTANCY
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Ø Company profile clearly stating the current physical address, contact telephone numbers and valid email address with a list of directors or shareholders.
Ø Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Three (03) traceable and reputable references from past and current companies you are doing business with
- Valid registration with National Council for Construction and the Engineering Institute of Zambia
- Kindly clearly specify the category which you are applying for (No General Dealers) or you will be disqualified.
- Applicants are restricted to apply for a maximum number of three (03) categories per company and these should be the main areas of your core businesses.
- Current suppliers and contractors with A2HealthZ are encouraged to re-apply.
Method of Application
Sealed applications should be clearly labelled “Registration of Suppliers and Contractors’ for the year 2024 to 2026” and should be deposited in the tender box situated at the reception area of A2HealthZ at the following addresses not later than Thursday 8th February 2024 at 14:00 hours local time.
