Position Overview:

Zircon Energy Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a background in water, solar, or agricultural engineering to join our innovative team. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the water and solar energy sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage technical expertise and sales acumen to promote sustainable energy solutions and make a positive impact on our planet.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the water and solar energy sector.

2. Market Analysis and Identification of Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and emerging opportunities. Utilize findings to formulate targeted sales initiatives and campaigns.

3. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients across the water and energy sector. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and negotiations.

4. Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding water and solar energy solutions, including system design, installation, and maintenance requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs.

5. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops to showcase the features and benefits of Zircon’s products and services. Address client inquiries and objections effectively.

6. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and effective coordination with internal teams.

7. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including prospecting efforts, client interactions, and sales performance metrics. Generate regular reports and analyses to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

8. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to align sales efforts with organizational goals and objectives. Share insights and feedback to drive product enhancements and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in water engineering, solar engineering, agricultural engineering, electrical, mechanical engineering or related field. Advanced diploma or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the water or solar energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of water and solar energy technologies, systems, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
