The Advertiser seeks to employ suitably qualified individuals to fill the positions of Security Officers.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry
- Respond to alarms and security incidents, investigate disturbances, and provide assistance in resolving emergencies
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- High school Certificate [Grade 12] or equivalent
- Thorough understanding of security procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and alarm systems
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended period.
- additional training or certification in security management is a plus but not required.
