At BDO Zambia, we have a rapidly growing corporate services practice looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Senior Associate
We are seeking a Senior Associate to manage a portfolio of client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on company secretarial and governance matters. The role involves ensuring compliance with laws and industry standards through regular compliance audits, overseeing the preparation and filing of statutory documents, and guiding clients on corporate transactions, board meetings and shareholder communications. The ideal candidate will lead process improvements, stay updated on regulatory changes, supervise and mentor junior team members, and contribute to business development by identifying growth opportunities and fostering strong client partnerships.
Key Performance Areas
- Support billing and collection processes.
- Engagement quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Corporate secretarial compliance
- Contribution to development and growth of the team including impact on effective workflow processes.
Qualification
The ideal candidate will hold a Business degree in a relevant field or equivalent certification, with 4-5 years of progressive experience in the professional services industry. They should demonstrate the ability to handle complex tasks independently, set goals, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines with high accuracy. Strong data analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of CaseWare is an added advantage.
