Silo Maintenance Assistant: Silo Operations
- Preferable candidate who has at least 2 years’ experience of silo operation as in maintenance.
- Responsible for keeping record of silo maintenance.
- Maintenance includes servicing, cleaning of grain conveyer belt , fine Dust cleaner or all other silo parts .
- Responsible for organizing the silo operation and the workflow.
- Maintaining inventory based on FIFO and assist in preventing commodity quality related issues.
- Responsible for quality control as inward and outward stock movement.
- Responsible for maintaining Bin card on daily basis.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, minimizing overtime and production planning in an environment that demands constant changes in shipping requirements.
- Implements plant safety programs to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
- Leads all aspects of inventory control of all incoming production material to avoid production material shortages.
- Leads and coaches team employees in Warehouse Department by implementing programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition, and internal employee development to drive peak employee engagement and efficiency.
- Ensures work is accomplished in a safe manner and the workplace is free of safety hazards.
- Make sure all the packaging material is kept in prober stack with bin card to keep accountability
- Daily submission of offloading and loading report to concern person Cross-checking of all receiving and dispatch documents to control the fraud and errors
- Daily meeting in the morning with supervisor to share the daily activity plan
- Make sure all the warehouse operation is meeting the EHS according to the local government law
- Make sure all the safety signage is sticked at required
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Good time management
- Must be computer literate (Excel, Word)
- Must be able to work with the team
- Able to use initiative
- Honest and transparent when carrying out duties
