SOFTWARE ENGINEER (01) – ECH5

Job Summary
Reporting to the Applications Administrator, the job holder will be responsible for applying computing principals to create internal programs/scripts, and integration software services. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for designing desired specifications, coding, testing, debugging, and enhancing programs.

Key Attributes & Skills
a) Must have in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in coding in languages including, but not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, or Python
b) Solid understanding of container technology and fluency in Kubernetes.
c) Must be sufficiently experienced in OOP, SQL and Unix/Linux commands and structure.
d) Innovative solution provider, capable of articulating new ideas and changes.
e) Must be a multi-tasker, able to work in a fast-paced & changing environment.

Qualifications & Experience
a) Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of a credit in all subjects that must include English and Mathematics.
b) A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent from a recognized institution.
c) Membership to a relevant Professional Body.
d) At least Two (02) Years’ relevant professional experience.
