STOCK CONTROLLERS

Key Duties

The Stock Controller shall be responsible for:

1.    All day-to-day depot operations.

2.    All depot employees to ensure that all daily tasks are achieved in a timely manner and in line with set procedures.

3.    Ensuring that there is adequate manpower for timely offloading of fertilizer received and loading the fertilizer being dispatched.

4.    Receiving and taking stock of all fertilizer delivered to the depot.

5.    Ensuring that all documentation relating to receipt of fertilizer are completed and signed for.

6.    Ensuring that fertilizer bags received at the depot are well stacked and stored in line with the set company procedures.

7.    Ensuring that the depot always has adequate security, and all the fertilizer stock is well secured with no losses.

8.     Overseeing the beneficiary farmer fertilizer redeeming process and ensuring that the right farmer receives the fertilizer after verification of all required documentation.

9.    Ensuring that all documentation relating to issuance of fertilizer to the farmer is completed and signed for.

10. Completing and submitting the required Daily Reports and any other reports as may be required from time to time.

11. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12 Certificate.
2. Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply, or other related fields.
3. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
4. Capable of using smart phones and other electronic gadgets.
5.Able to fluently speak one or more local languages of the district.
