Job Description:

This role is pivotal in driving Zanza Energy Solutions’ growth and sustainability initiatives by spearheading strategic funding efforts and forging key partnerships, including international collaborations and stakeholder engagement in Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new funding streams while building strong relationships with investors, government agencies, and strategic partners to support Zanza Energy Solutions’ mission and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising and Investment Mobilization: Lead efforts to secure funding through grant applications, fundraising campaigns, and investor outreach. Manage relationships with investors, donors, and funding agencies to ensure consistent financial support.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, NGOs, and international partners. Build and sustain relationships that advance Zanza Energy Solutions’ objectives, both locally and internationally.
  • Proposal and Pitch Development: Prepare compelling investor proposals, pitch decks, and presentations to secure funding and strategic alliances. Tailor communications to resonate with diverse stakeholders across different regions.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead contract negotiations with investors, partners, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms for Zanza Energy Solutions Limited. Manage and maintain agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Market Research and Business Strategy: Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities and potential new initiatives. Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities in the renewable energy sector to inform strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to align business development strategies with Zanza Energy Solutions’ broader goals and growth plans. Ensure synergy between fundraising efforts, partnership development, and company objectives.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on KPIs related to fundraising, partnership development, and contractual agreements. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to optimize strategies.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Management: Stay informed about local and international regulations related to renewable energy and ensure that all funding and partnership activities comply with relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, fundraising, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the renewable energy or sustainability sector.
  • Strong network and relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
