Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in alignment with the Cambridge Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages inquiry-based and active learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensure every student’s academic success.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain effective classroom management strategies and a positive learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and extracurricular activities as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field.
Professional teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent). - A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in the Cambridge Primary Years Programme.
- Deep understanding of the Cambridge PYP curriculum and its implementation.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about student well-being and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Experience teaching in an international school setting is an added advantage.
