Job Purpose
The Brand Marketing Coordinator will ensure the efficient execution of business plans in order to meet future brand expectations and targets for the Company. Work with the Commercial/Sale team in the development of short-term tactical Sales and Brand Management marketing plans. Ensure brand integrity by guiding efforts across multiple channels and functions. And support the development and execution of offline/traditional, digital, and paid social advertising programs for the business.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of media campaigns from the beginning to the end and is also responsible for the execution across all media channels inclusive of TV, Radio, Digital, Print, and Paid Social
- Work with the COO in the development and implementation of brand strategies aligned with the business’s overall goals.
- Identify market challenges, opportunities and right focus in terms of Consumer Marketing Objectives
- Input into the brand portfolio development and partner with the Global marketing Team
- Build in depth understanding of local consumers and shoppers to input into Consumer market strategy
- Evaluate & propose Marketing mix and evaluate media channels
- Evaluate Brand performance, gather and interpret data & propose activities to rectify poor performance, and spot opportunities / gaps in the market.
- Conduct research and analysis to maintain an in-depth understanding of the market, competitors, and consumer trends.
- Manage the development and execution of marketing campaigns to bolster brand awareness and loyalty.
- Oversee the production of advertisements, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with different departments, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure a cohesive and effective market presence.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions.
- Manage budgets, ensuring all branding activities are within allocated financial plans.
- Develop a strong local pipeline to deliver on Business Objectives set by the Marketing Manager
- Monitor and report on brand performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Work closely with external agencies including advertising and research firms to enhance the brand’s marketing efforts.
- Maintaining consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms, aligning with the company’s standards and regulatory requirements.
- Executing marketing initiatives in conjunction with sales objectives and campaigns.
- Coordinating market launches of new products or services along with planned marketing strategies.
- Tracking consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, and developing plans based on these insights.
- Handling the brand’s public relations and overseeing the communication on platforms including social media.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in brand management, marketing or a related field.
- Must have good experience of not less than 1-2 years in retail marketing
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, media channels, and branding.
- Good analytical and financial skills for share analyses and business case development.
- Must be a member of ZIM
