Our client, one of Zambia’s largest franchisee manufacturing carbonated beverages and non-carbonated beverages is looking to hire an enthusiastic Refrigeration Service Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer support by query resolution and maintaining efficient scheduling and resource allocation for brand refrigeration located in the commercial region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate service operations by scheduling appointments for refrigeration technician visits based on client requirements, urgency and technician availability.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, technician schedules, and customer interactions.
- Monitor service levels and technician performance, providing feedback and training as necessary to enhance service quality.
- Assist technicians with logistical support, including paperwork, equipment needs, and travel arrangements.
- Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery across all geographical locations.
- Generate reports on service metrics, customer feedback, and technician performance for management review.
- Implement strategies to improve service delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and potential service agreements.
- Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends, service techniques, and technology.
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in any Marketing or business and any other related field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination or management within a technical or mechanical environment, preferably in refrigeration or HVAC.
- Must be a valid member of Engineering Institution of Zambia.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze service data and generate meaningful reports for management.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and technical terminology would be an advantage.
